No one ever really talks about the deepest connection to the self when we undergo massive life transformations through healing and the dark night of the soul. We don’t talk about the discomfort, the emotional turmoil, the new vision and clarity that comes from it that allows us to see the unseen. We sink instead into a false image of what it looks like in society. The shiny beads and white shirts of self proclaimed authenticity, a mark of our accomplishments of stepping into spirituality as a disguise for a while. Rather than actually being raw and spiritually naked in our authenticity realizing that we are beams of light wrapped in human existence.
